Paolo Maldini has set his sights on a ninth Champions League final after leading Milan to a seventh triumph on Wednesday.
Maldini claimed Europe’s biggest honour for a fifth time as Milan earned a 2-1 win over Liverpool in Athens on Wednesday.
“The win? It’s beautiful,” Maldini told Sky Italia.
“I have the luck to play in a great side like Milan. It’s beautiful.”
Maldini confirmed he would be playing on next season.
“Hanging-up now my boots? No, I want to win again with this team,” he continued.
“I want to play the European Super-cup and the Intercontinental one, and winning maybe again and then closing with another win.”
