Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini has expressed his gratitude to club owner Massimo Moratti for continuing to show faith in him.
Mancini’s position has come under scrutiny this season following a disappointing campaign at home and in Europe.
The Italian has subsequently been tipped to be sacked but he retains the backing of Moratti.
Mancini told Inter channel: “I think Moratti’s faith never wavered. It’s obvious that when you don’t win there could be a bad mood around but there has always been that faith.
“Now we can’t look back but go forward and try not to make the same mistakes again.”
