Portsmouth haven’t won at Liverpool since 1951 and they travel to Anfield again tonight – Simon Hopper previews the betting.

Rafael Marquez has confirmed that he will retire from international football after the 2010 World Cup.

The experienced centre-half has earned 88 caps in a thirteen year international career.

However, at the age of 31, the Barcelona defender feels the time is right to call time on his international career.

“Now is the time to move on and give a chance to the younger generation in my country,” he said.

“After this summer I will focus all of my attention on Barca.

“My dream is step aside having done really well in South Africa. This will be my third World Cup and that is a special achievement for any player.”
