The match had to be suspended midway through the second half due to the confrontation involving players and officials of both clubs.

The fight starts after the dismissal of Federico Fernandez and Marcos Lamolla, for a second yellow. Lamolla, unhappy with the decision, then sprints the length of the pitch to confront his opponent and before long all the players are involved in a huge free-for-all.
