Internazionale are interested in signing Philippe Mexes after the French defender confirmed he wants to quit Auxerre.
Mexes has attracted interest from several clubs, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus reported to be interested in acquiring his services.
Now, Inter are understood to have entered the race to sign thedefender at the end of the season.
“I want to leave but I don’t know where I’ll go,” Mexes told Le Parisien.
“The ideal thing will be a club which plays in the Champions League each year.
“In which country? In order, Spain, Italy and England.”
