Middlesbrough have completed the signing of defenders Jonathan Woodgate and Robert Huth.
Real Madrid centre-half Woodgate, 26, has moved to the Riverside on a season-long loan deal with the option of a permanent deal.
Huth, who has been a target for Middlesbrough throughout the summer, has signed a five-year contract after completing a £6m move from Chelsea.
Manager boss Gareth Southgate told the club website: “We have added two international defenders to our squad… and this is a significant coup and a big boost.”
“Both players have a point to prove – and the great thing is that they want to do that with Middlesbrough. I’m absolutely delighted.”
