Wigan Athletic have signed Middlesbrough striker Mido on loan until the end of the season.
The Egyptian international has agreed terms after travelling to Wigan on Thursday.
Wigan boss Steve Bruce has been keen to secure additional firepower and Mido, could replace Emile Heskey who is currently holding talks with Aston Villa after Wigan agreed a £3.5million fee.
