Milan have confirmed that they are no longer in the hunt to sign Seville striker Luis Fabiano’.
The Serie A outfit have been chasing the Brazil international for some time, but were unable to reach an agreement with his club.
“Luis Fabiano won’t arrive in Milan. The negotiations have failed,” said club lawyer Leandro Cantamessa.
Milan have also moved to quell the rumours surrounding the future of Andrea Pirlo.
The talented playmaker has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea, but Cantamessa insists he knows of no such approach.
“At the moment I am not aware of Chelsea making an offer for Pirlo,” he added.
Cantamessa also insists that Milan have yet to make a move for Real Madrid forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
“On Huntelaar there is no news,” he said.
“But I must admit that I know nothing about Milan’s budget for the transfer market.”
