Utrecht striker Michael Mols has been handed a five match ban for punching Graafschap Doetinchem defender Milan Berck Beelenkamp.
The former Rangers striker, who joined Utrecht in November, knocked his opponent out with the punch early in a league match on November 28.
If Mols rejects the ban, he will then go in front of a disciplinary board, but runs the risk of the punishment being increased.
