Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will not be charged by The Football Association for his alleged remark to referee Mike Riley.
Mourinho was believed to sworn in Portuguese at Riley during his side’s FA Cup draw with Tottenham.
Mourinho insisted afterwards that he had not verbally abused the match official.
The alleged comments were not included in Riley’s match report and The FA will take no further action in the matter.
An FA spokesman said: “We have spoken to the referee who has clarified that there is no issue for us to pursue.”
