Juventus coach Fabio Capello believes that the injury which forced Pavel Nedved out of last night’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid, is not that serious.

The former European Footballer of the Year was carried off following a clash of heads with Real defender Raul Bravo.

“He lost consciousness and, in that moment, he remembered nothing,” said Capello.

“But now he has recovered and it isn’t a worrying thing. He suffered a bad blow. He was knocked out.”

Though Juve trail going into the second leg in a fortnight’s time, Capello remains confident about his team’s chances of overturning the deficit.

“Real’s goal came about because of a disputed free kick because there wasn’t a foul on Zidane,” he added.

“Until their goal, Real feared us. I think the 1-0 loss isn’t a bad result but we had two big chances and we missed them.

“We have the possibility to recover the result at Stadio Delle Alpi. I’m confident for the second leg but in Turin we will have to be attentive to their sudden counter attacks.”
