Milan defender Alessandro Nesta could play again this season after undergoing surgery on his knee.
Nesta was forced to miss last week’s Champions League defeat to Manchester United after suffering the knee injury in training.
Milan said in a statement that he should be able to “return to athletic activity in 30 days”.
The news is a boost for Milan as they have just lost David Beckham for the rest of the season after the England international tore his Achilles in Sunday’s win over Chievo.
