New York City FC will become the latest MLS franchise when they join the league in 2015. To mark the occasion, the club owned by Manchester City and the New York Yankees would like you to help them design their badge.
Using a tool on the club’s official website, fans can choose from a number of options or even upload their own designs and images, which will all be provided to the official badge designer for inspiration.
All of the fan submitted designs and images will also be put together to form a “badge of badges” mosaic that will be displayed on the club’s website and in physical form at their permanent home ground. At the time of writing, there is no home for the club – the NY Yankees baseball stadium will be their acting home until a purpose-built ground has been built. Before that, though, a location for such a stadium has to be found.
