Former Liverpool star Steve Nicol has been voted Coach of the Year in the United States.
Nicol, in his day an energetic and hard-tackling fullback or midfielder, played 27 times for his country between 1985 and 1992.
He earned the accolade for guiding New England Revolution through to the MLS Final which they contest on Saturday against Los Angeles Galaxy.
