Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola insists he does not regret signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Sweden international made the switch to Camp Nou last summer in a deal worth £54million plus Samuel Eto’o, who moved to Inter in the process.

Now Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move back to Italy with Milan, and Barca could make a big financial loss on the player.

But despite this, Guardiola insists he has no regrets about signing the 28-year-old.

He said: “I don’t regret the exchange with Eto’o. You can’t go back on the decisions you make.”

Meanwhile, coach Guardiola also revealed that former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb will be leaving the club this summer.

Hleb, who spent the season on loan at Stuttgart last term, is set to leave the Catalans along with youth product Victor Sanchez and Uruguay defender Martin Caceres.

“We’ll have to find a way out for Hleb, Caceres and Victor Sanchez because if they stay, they will not take part very much,” Guardiola added.
