Turkey’s Football Federation has banned French striker Pascal Nouma from playing for seven months for sticking his hands into his shorts.

The gesture that has already cost him his job at Besiktas, involved Nouma celebrating a goal against Fenerbahce earlier this month, by ripping off his shirt and waving to fans with his other hand buried deep in his shorts.

The club fired him shortly afterincident and the federationhas now suspended him from playing in Turkey for seven months.

It said his behaviour was “absolutely incompatible with sporting morals and gentlemanly behaviour”.
