Osasuna have reached an agreement with Jose Luis Mendilibar to replace Jose Antonio Camacho, who was fired on Monday.
The club says on its website that Mendilibar has agreed to lead the relegation-threatened team for the last 15 games and then until the end of the 2011-12 season.
Mendilibar was in charge at Valladolid from 2006 to 2010 before being sacked with the club involved in a relegation battle.
Mendilibar’s first game in charge will be at home to Espanyol.
