Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has hit back at claims Napoli could be interested in signing Javier Pastore by claiming he has already received a €50million offer.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all said to be interested in the 21-year-old Argentina international.

Pastore has already said he is happy to stay in Sicily, but given the growing speculation a summer move is expected.

Quizzed about Napoli’s reported interest, Zamparini told Radio Kiss Kiss: “Javier is out of Napoli’s reach.

“Besides, I have already received a €50m offer for Pastore and still have to give an answer.

“If I were Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, I wouldn’t sign him for that price.”
