Robert Pires has revealed that Thierry Henry was so angry after being substituted against Villarreal that he stormed out of Camp Nou without speaking to his former team-mate.

The Barca forward was replaced by Bojan Krkic in the second half of Barca’s defeat to Villarreal and, according to Pires, he was furious at being substituted.

“He was angry because he is not used to being substituted. At Arsenal he was never substituted,” the Villarreal star was quoted as saying by Sport.

“We agreed to speak after the game and have a good chat, but when I went to find him they said that he had gone home. But he had left me his shirt though.

“If I said that Henry was fine then I would be called a liar. It is difficult because I do not play in his position, he is always switching between the right and the left. I know him and I know he is not good.”

Henry missed training on Monday with an alleged migraine, but the club insisted that he was working in the gymnasium.
