Chievo coach Luigi Del Neri has been named as Porto’s new manager following the resignation earlier this week of previous incumbent, Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho left the Champions League winners to manage Chelsea and the club have wasted no time in finding a replacement.
“I can confirm it, but now let’s wait for the official news form Chievo’s president (Luca)Campedelli,” Del Neri Êsaid.Ê
“More than the responsibility, I have a lot of satisfaction for this adventure.
“I think it’s still better going to a big club where you win, than to a place where you lose.”
