Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari announced the his squad for Euro 2004 on Tuesday.

Perhaps the most surprising inclusion isTottenham’s out-of-favour striker Helder Postiga, who edges out Fulham’s Luis Boa Morte.

“I wanted to have three centre-forwards,” Scolari told a news conference.

“Each player is excellent, with different characteristics. We have to call them up because with three strikers we have scope for variation.”
