Arsenal have secured their place in the last eight with a two-legged win over Porto. See what price they are to go all the way here.

Fiorentina president Diego Della Valle insists coach Cesare Prandelli will stay at the club next season, despite rumours linking him with a switch to Juventus.

“I don’t see a problem regarding Prandelli,” Della Valle told Corriere dello Sport after his team’s elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

“He has one year left in his contract and I see no reason why he should leave, we are very happy with him.”

The Viola currently lie 11th in the standings, 11 points behind fourth-place Palermo, who hold the last Champions League qualifying spot.

Prandelli admitted he was disappointed with his team’s exit from the Champions League, but insisted his side has what it takes to recover their disappointing domestic season.

“I feel great bitterness,” said Prandelli. “But I am proud to have guided the team to play this match. My players should not feel frustrated.

“They are working to become important players and these type of games show that they can compete against anyone. My players did well against Bayern and it’s a pity that Miroslav Klose’s goal in the first-leg turned out to be important.”
