Xavi admits the Liga title race is wide open again after Barcelona’s 2-0 defeat to Villarreal.
Goals from Robert Pires and Marcos five minutes from time secured the points for Villarreal on Sunday.
The defeat leaves Barca just two points ahead of arch-rivals Real Madrid and just one point ahead of second placed Sevilla.
“Those matches are very important and it is impossible to lose them if you want to be champions,” said Barcelona midfielder Xavi.
“Now I have bad feelings because the head of the table is very equal and it is possible anyone can win.
“We have seven finals in seven matches and it is necessary to win them all to keep us ahead of our rivals.”
But despite the result the midfielder still believes Barca still have a significant advantage.
“Barca are still leaders by one point and that is really important,” he added.
