Tottenham manager Juande Ramos has dismissed reports claiming he wants to quit the club and return to Spain.

After a disappointing 0-0 home draw with Wigan on Sunday Spurs remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League and Ramos found himself answering questions about his long-term future at White Hart Lane.

”It is not true at all (that I want to leave),” said Ramos.

”I’m delighted to be in London and delighted to be at Tottenham. I am having a marvellous experience.”

He added: ”It is difficult because we have had many new players coming in and they need time for adaptation.

”Some did not come in until just before the transfer window closed and it is very difficult to adapt all at once.

”We have to try new situations and allow people to settle into the team. I know the supporters reacted (with boos)and maybe that is justified but I don’t believe it is personal and we must continue to work together to get things right.

”We have a new game in a different competition on Wednesday and will do everything we can to win that.”
