Tottenham coach Juande Ramos has again confirmed that he wants striker Dimitar Berbatov to stay at the club.
Manchester United continue to be linked with a move for the former Bayer Leverkusen forward – but Ramos insists that he will be happy to keep him.
“I can’t say whether Dimitar is happy or not,” Ramos said.
“I just know that I would be very happy to keep him here.
“I would be absolutely delighted if Berbatov was still at the club after the end of the transfer window, I really hope that is the case.
“He is a magnificent player and we want to enjoy another season of him at this club.”
Ramos admits there could still be some more more deals before the transfer window closes at the end of this month.
“The window closes on August 31 so anything can happen before then,” he added.
“Players might come in and players might leave, it is all possible.”
