Real Madrid’s director of sport Predrag Mijatovic has dismissed speculation linking the club with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho’s future at Stamford Bridge has come under scrutiny in recent weeks amid reports of a rift with owner Roman Abramovich.

Madrid have been mentioned as possible destination for Mourinhi if the former Porto coach decides to quit Chelsea, but Mijatovic insists they are happy with Fabio Capello.

“Sometimes the name of Jose Mourinho has come up, other times (Vicente) Del Bosque,” Mijatovic told Sky Sports News.

“But we do know that the current trainer is Fabio Capello and we are really happy with him.

“So all of these names of possible signings, players leaving and new managers are all inventions of some journalists which we don’t consider very important.”
