Benfica have completed the signing of Atletico Madrid forward Jose Antonio Reyes on a permanent basis for £7.5million.
The former Sevilla, Arsenal and Real Madrid player joined Benfica on a season-long loan deal in the summer, but he has impressed in Portugal and has agreed a our-year-deal.
Reyes’ agent, Mariano Aguilar, said: “The player is very happy to have signed.
“He feels at home in Lisbon, that’s why he wants to continue. They have treated him wonderfully since day one.”
