France midfielder Franck Ribery has ruled out the possibility of leaving Marseille in the January transfer window.

Over the summer the 23-year-old was linked with moves to Arsenal, Lyon and Real Madrid.

However, Ribery has once again rejected talk of a move, claiming he will be seeing out the season with Marseille.

“After my good World Cup, I was much in demand and have been disturbed,” said Ribery in France Football.

“I was a little lost, but finally took the right decision by staying at Marseille.

“I am proud of that decision.

“The winter transfer window? No, I will simply remain at Marseille. Only my agent talked about Arsenal.

“When I decide to quit Marseille, it will be my own decision.

“I repeat it, Ribery will not leave Marseille during the winter transfer window.”
