Marseille’s highly-rated young midfielder Franck Ribery has pledged his future to the Ligue 1 club, amid speculation lonking him with a move abroad.

“My agent is handling all this. I’m just happy to be here. I’m kind of the blue-eyed boy here. I want to stay,” Ribery declared.

“Of course, I was delighted to learn that clubs are interested in having me in their team.”

Ribery, 22, joined Marseille from Galatasaray last year. He stared for the French under-21 team, but has yet to earn his first cap for Franc, although pressure is mounting on coach Raymond Domenech to take include him in his squad for the World Cup finals in Germany.
