Injured Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has revealed that he has no idea of when he will be able to play again.

“I cannot say whether it will take four weeks, or two or three months,” he told Bild.

Robben injured his left hamstring while preparing for the World Cup with Holland, and underwent a swift recovery that allowed him to feature throughout the tournament’s knockout rounds. Upon returning to Germany, however, it was revealed that he had a five-centimetre tear in the muscle he injured before the tournament.

Robben also discussed Bayern’s travails early in the Bundesliga campaign.

“The mentality is now important. Dortmund are now seven points ahead – the distance should not be so great.”

Bayern are also 10 points behind league leaders Mainz.
