Man Utd looked in awesome form at Portsmouth on Monday night but Chelsea remain red-hot favourites (BP evens) to win back the title.

Chelsea could be set to sign Robinho after the Brazilian’s agent confirmed his Real Madrid career was coming to an end.

The Blues have been pursuing Robinho for much of the summer and submitted a bid to Real earlier this month.

Real have insisted they wanted to keep the 24-year and Chelsea were unwilling to match their valuation.

However, Robinho recently revealed that he wanted to leave and the Spanish champions responded by saying they would let him leave.

“The deal is about to be reached,” his agent, Wagner Ribeiro told the Daily Mirror.

“Robinho’s cycle in Spain has come to an end and he is looking forward to a new project.”
