Can Man City emulate Tottenham’s achievement last campaign and break into the Top Four? Tom Powell previews the contenders.

Milan have been given a boost with the news that Ronaldinho will only be out of action for one week.

The Brazilian suffered a hamstring injury in training on Wednesday and initial reports indicated he could be out for around a month.

But tests have shown that the problem is less serious than first feared and that the 30-year-old will not be out for long.

“AC Milan can announce that Ronaldinho suffered a left hamstring strain,” the club said in a statement.

“The player will not be available for the Emirates Cup matches and will miss around seven days.”

Ronaldinho has recently pledged his future to Milan after another summer of speculation.
