Newcastle are out of the bottom three after Alan Shearer’s side beat North-east rivals Middlesbrough 3-1. But with just two games left can they still beat the drop?

Ronaldinho’s representative and brother Roberto de Assis has refused to rule out the possibility of the Brazilian leaving Milan this summer.

The playmaker only moved to the San Siro from Barcelona last year, but has regularly found himself on the substitutes bench this season.

Reports had suggested that Ronaldinho was ready to return to Brazil but de Assis has made it clear that this is out of the question.

“There is no possibility he leaves Europe right now,” he told the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper. “If you ask me if he may change clubs in Europe, then I would say yes,”

Brazilian side Flamengo are reported to be interested, with Flamengo president Delair Dumbrosck declaring in the same newspaper: “We are very interested in signing Ronaldinho. Why not on a loan basis?”
