World Cup star Ronaldinho has declared that he has no intention of moving from his current club, Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian striker, whose outstanding performances during the World Cup earned him widespread praise, has been the subject of speculation concerning big-money moves to England and Spain.

“People are saying I’ll be going to Barcelona or Manchester United but I have never been contacted by either club,” the 22-year-old revealed.

Signed from Gremio in 2001 for only £4 million, his value has soared in the last two years. Ronaldinho, who was top scorer last season for PSG and member of the Brazilian World Cup winning side, has forced Canal Plus, the club owners, to slap a £30 million price tag on him.

However PSG coach Fernandez insists he is going nowhere.

“Whatever the offer, I will say no,” confirmed Fernandez.

Ronaldinho has four years left on his contract and PSG are expecting a number of lucrative advertising deals as a result of the striker’s success in Korea and Japan.
