Brazilian striker Ronaldo has said he wants to stay at Real Madrid, despite reports linking him with a move to Milan.

“I am extremely happy at Real Madrid. I want to stay with the club for many years,” said Ronaldo.

The three-time World Player of the Year saw a move to Milan fall through last week after the two clubs failed to agree on a fee.

According to AS, Ronaldo is attempting to renegotiate his image rights with the new management of the club.

Real, who signed Ronaldo in 2002 with Florentino Perez at the helm, own 70 percent of those rights.
