Czech Republic playmaker Tomas Rosicky is set to return to training and looks on course to play in the World Cup opener against the USA.
Rosicky, 25, injured a thigh in a friendly against Saudi Arabia on 26 May and missed the warm-up games against Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago.
Czech team doctor Petr Krejci said: “He was training at home but from Tuesday he will train with the others.”
Coach Karel Bruckner said: “I need Rosicky, especially for the opening game against the USA.”
