French international defender Willy Sagnol is set to end speculation about his future by signing a new deal at Bayern Munich.

“Before the last home match against Hertha Berlin I spoke with Bayern and I now have a concrete offer until 2010,” Sagnol told SportBild on Wednesday.

“I have up until the start of October to decide but as it stands I will be staying at Bayern.”

The 28-year-old Sagnol is out of contract at the end of the season and looked set to leave Bayern after rejecting their original offer.

Sagnol joined Bayern from Monaco in 2000 and has helped the club to three Bundesliga titles and the 2001 Champions League title.
