Manchester United striker Louis Saha is to join Everton for an undisclosed fee subject to passing a medical.
The 30-year-old France international will become Everton’s third signing of the week after Lars Jacobsen and Segundo Castillo.
Saha, who joined United from Fulham for £12.8m in January 2004, will sign a two-year deal with an option to extend his contract by a further 12 months.
The striker scored 42 goals during his time at United, but his career at Old Trafford was undermined by a series of long-term injuries.
His last appearance for United came in March against Bolton and he started only six games in the Premier League last term.
