Getafe coach Bernd Schuster has admitted that he would like to manage Real Madrid one day.

With Real boss Vanderlei Luxemburgo under pressure to end Real’s trophy drought, Schuster was asked if he would ever consider taking over at the Bernabeu.

“Of course, if the opportunity did arise then I would be at the Bernabeu the following day. The club, with all its possibilities, is the biggest there is,” Schuster confirmed.

The German played for Real in the 1980s, as well as rivals Barcelona, before becoming a coach.

Schuster has guided unfancied Getafe to the top of La Liga this season, claiming some signficant scalps alomng the way including Valencia on Saturday.
