Sedan have sacked coach Henri Stambouli after his side went down 4-1 at resurgent Nantes in last night’s French first division match.
Stambouli, 41, will be replaced by former international midfielder Dominique Bathenay until the end of the season.
Sedan, who have been knocked out of both domestic cup competitions, lie 16th in the French first division with 24 points from 23 matches.
