Philippe Senderos has reiterated his desire to leave Arsenal ahead of the World Cup.

The Swiss international, who spent last season on-loan at Milan, has played just seven games for the Gunners this season with South Africa 2010 on the horizon.

Interest in Senderos has reportedly materialised from Spain, and the centre-half feels a move is essential for his World Cup prospects.

“I want to go,” he told The Sun . “I need to be playing ahead of the World Cup and I don’t want to play in the reserves any more. I really just want to leave.”
