The San Siro sees the game of the weekend in Italy as table toppers Juventus take on third placed Milan.

Milan currently lie eight points behind Juventus who top the table on 57 points. This will be a tough test for Lippi’s men who have only lost twice all season.

Milan boast the only unbeaten home record in Serie A and so a tight, tactical game is expected.

Cocah Carllo Ancelotti is expected to pair Alessandro Costacurta with Alessandro Nesta at centre-back, with Paolo Maldini still deputizing at left back for the injured Kaladze and Serginho.

Due to a lack of goals, Brazilian World Cup winner Rivaldo will start on the bench as Ancelotti opts for a Shevchenko-Inzaghi forward line.

Milan are still without Roque Junior, Thomas Helveg, Massimo Ambrosini and Jose Chamot.

Juventus in the meantime will give Alessandro Del Piero some kind of run out in this game as he did in midweek at Basle.

Lippi could then team up Nedved, Del Piero and Camoranesi behind the frontman David Trezeguet. Marci Di Vaio is set to make the bench after two weeks out injured.

Elsewhere this weekend, Parma will take on Lazio at the Tardini stadium. With Lazio having played against Besiktas on Thurday Parma may well take advantage of the fatigue that some Lazio players may be feeling.

Lazio are expected to welcome back striker Simone Inzaghi after the Italian international was sidelined with flu, and missed the club’s UEFA cup quarter-final. This will mean either Enrico Chiesa or Claudio Lopez may miss out.

Parma will be looking to follow up last weekend’s 4-1 win over Empoli and register another victory which could lift them up to fifth.

Second paced Inter find themselves travelling to Udinese and a win for them and a Juventus defeat could lift them to joint top of the standings.

Inter are set to have Christian Vieri back in the line up after his suspension in midweek. The likely partner could be Obefami Martins who starred again for Inter in Europe at Leverkusen, but with Hernan Crespo pressing for a start after recovering from injury, the Nigerian could find himself left on the bench.

Udinese have no notable absentees but all eyes will be on Marek Jankulovski, who is a rumoured target for Inter, Juventus and Arsenal.

Fabio Capello will be hoping that his Roma side are going to bounce back from last week’s setback at Perugia, as they face Piacenza.

Capello, under increasing pressure due to the current position of the Rome club in Serie A, will be looking for his players to shoulder some responsibility and help get the club out of its current slump. Piacenza though will be eager to beat Roma as they desperately need points in their fight for survival.

Other games in Serie A this weekend include Modena against Reggina, Chievo will visit Atalanta, Como will face Bologna, Torino will play host to Perugia and Brescia, will face Empoli.
