The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have asked Uefa to move Sevilla’s Uefa Cup match against Tottenham.
The quarter-final first leg between the two sides is due to be held in Seville on 5th April, but that date clashes with the city’s Easter celebrations.
Traditionally, a procession is heldthat day, prompting Seville town council to request the fixture be switched.
The RFEF have contacted Uefa to discuss the possibility of moving the date of the fixture.
“There will be several meetings. There is no deadline for us to give an answer, but Uefa will try to accommodate both parties to get the very best decision,” a Uefa spokesman said.
