Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson is set to sign for Tottenham, according to a report on BBC Radio.

The 24-year-old England international is having reported to be undergoing a medical at White Hart Lane and is expected to cost the London club £2m.

Robinson, though, could stay at Elland Road until the end of the season as part of the deal.

Robinson supplanted Nigel Martyn as Leeds number one last season. He has been tipped to become England’s first choice and made his international debut against Australia in February last year.

Robinson is set to serve a one-match suspension after being sent off in the 3-0 defeat to Middlesbrough at the weekend.
