French international defender Sebastien Squillaci has completed his move from French champions Lyon to Sevilla in Spain.
The fee was not disclosed, but the deal is estimated at €6.5million plus bonuses depending on Sevilla’s results and eventual Champions League qualification.
The 27-year-old, who passed his medicial on Thursday morning, has signed a four-year deal with the Spanish club.
Squillaci joined Lyon from Monaco in 2006 for €3million and has played in Lyon’s last two title-winning teams. He has played 13 times for France.
