Sunderland have moved to strengthen their attacking options by signingRade Prica from Danish club Aalborg AB for £2million.

The Sweden international striker has agreed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Premiership strugglers.

The 27-year-old was top scorer in the Danish Super League last season and Keane is hopeful the Swede will transfer that form to help Sunderland avoid relegation.

“Rada is an experienced striker with a good goalscoring record,” Sunderland boss Roy Keane told Sunderland’s official website.

“He is hungry to play in the Premier League and will give us attacking options.”

Prica has scored two goals in 13 appearances for Sweden.
