Sweden remain Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be fit to play against Croatia on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, Ibrahimovich’s club Juventus were adamant that the Swede would not represent his country in their vital World Cup qualifier against Croatia.

However Swedish FA chairman Lars-Ake Lagrell insists that the decision rests with Swedish coach Lars Lagerback.

“The ball is with Lasse [Lagerback],” Lagrell told Sportbladet.

“But both him and Juventus naturally have the same starting point that Zlatan should not play if he feels injured.

“Both Zlatan and his employer know who is deciding. We have a good communication with Juventus.”
