Bayern Munich have been hit by an injury crisis on the eve of their vital Champions League Group G clash with Milan.
Bosnian midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic and England midfielder Owen Hargreaves have complained of thigh injuries while French defender Willy Sagnol has been suffering frm a calf strain.
Bayern need a good result against Group G leaders Milan after picking up just one point from their first three matches. Milan won 2-1 in Munich three weeks ago to maintain their 100% start to the competition.
‘We’re going to Milan to win and I’m absolutely convinced that we will,’ said Bayern goalkeeper and captain Oliver Kahn.
KKahn”s optimism was shared by coach Ottmar Hitzfeld.
‘We have the potential to beat a world-class side like Milan,’ Hitzfeld said.
