Cristiano Ronaldo bagged 31 goals last season to win the Premier League golden boot. Can anyone stop him this time around?

Torino have signed Milan’s Italian under-21 international Ignazio Abate under a shared-ownership deal.

The 22-year-old midfielder is part of Italy’s Olympic Games squad and will join up with his new team-mates following the completion of the Olympic competition.

Abate is Torino’s second major signing of the close season following the acquisition of Austria international Jurgen Saumel from Sturm Graz.

“I had offers from half of Europe but I chose Torino due to their tradition,” said Saumel.
