Zinedine Zidane, Claude Makelele and Lilian Thuram have all been recalled for France to face Ivory Coast in a friendly on Wednesday August 17.

Zidane, 33, underwent a u-turn following his June 2004 decision to retire from the French set-up and is now expected to captain the side in Montpellier.

French coach Raymond Domenech has included has also included Makelele and Thuramwho returned to the inetrnational fold in the wake of Zidane’s announcement.
